Fracture the internet

Okay, you love fracturing things as much as I do. Here's how to break every site you ever come across.

Browser extension

Click the toolbar button (or press Alt+Shift+F) on any page, then click things. Press it again or hit Esc to put the page back. It only runs when you ask, and only on the tab you ask it to.

Download extension (.zip)

  1. Unzip it somewhere permanent.
  2. Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc: open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the unzipped folder.
  3. Firefox: open about:debugging → This Firefox → Load Temporary Add-on, and select manifest.json.

Bookmarklet

Drag this to your bookmarks bar. Click it on any page to start; click again to stop.

Fracture

Some sites (GitHub, banks, most big apps) forbid outside scripts with a Content Security Policy, and the bookmarklet silently does nothing there. The extension usually works anyway.
